Since not a lot of people know how to work Github, the ideal place for bug reports, I get a lot of Twitter mentions that are not conducive to reports since there's no way to keep track of them and 140 characters isn't a lot.

If you don't want to go through the hassle of submitting an Issue, you can go ahead and report bugs in this thread. I think it'll be a lot easier for everyone involved!

If you just have a question about how a feature works, I'd appreciate it if you kept it out of this thread and just PM'd me or created a new R&D thread.

squirrelboy, your damage calc is the best one available to us, so thanks for your work! However, the one feature I sorely miss right now is the ability to toggle between level 50 and level 100. Pressing that button doesn't change the level!

    PS: thanks for fixing it!

It doesn't toggle between levels, but if you set the level to 100 before selecting the mon, it should bring up a level 100 set.

Clanging Scales is bugged i think, its counted as single-target move even though it hits both targets like Hyper Voice.

Also last time i checked the calc lacks the variants of Super Sitrus Berries although my memory could be just unclear.

Bug report: Evoboost button isn't accounting for Def or Sp. Def boosts at all in its calculations (it appends the +2 to the output, but doesn't change the actual rolls).

Vikavolt isn't marked as having Levitate as its ability by default in the damage calculator, which (incorrectly) gives it an Electric Terrain boost. Could be worth fixing!

Hi, wanna report that parental bond and the -ate moves hasn't been accounted for the new gen 7 changes.
Also, thanks for your hard work for the community :)

I'm not sure what you mean. All of the -ate moves have been nerfed to 1.2x this generation, and the calculator has reflected that since it was discovered. Same with the 1/4 Parental Bond nerf.

Razor Leaf isn't in the calculator so I have to resort to a 55 base power grass type Precipice Blades

The damage calculator is great! Thanks for the hard work. For Turtonator, it learns Venoshock in game, but the move is not selectable on the calc. Just got curios with trying some things. Would adding it be possible with future updates?

There's a bug on damage calc that maybe lists Smart Strike as not a contact move because Bewear has Fluffy ability that reduces damage from contact moves but by this calcs:

    +2 4 Atk Kartana Smart Strike vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Bewear: 159-187 (70 - 82.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

    +2 4 Atk Kartana Leaf Blade vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Bewear in Grassy Terrain: 153-181 (67.4 - 79.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Smart Strike damage isn't affected by Fluffy on the calc.

I found a couple of issues with importing sets to the calculator.
    • Lightning Rod is currently formatted as 'Lightningrod' in the calculator when it should have the space
      • upload_2017-3-15_22-51-27.png
    • Tapu sets cannot be imported without manually adding parenthesis around their name (or setting a nickname in PS)

My Custom Sets aren't uploading correctly. For example, I upload a team where the first pokemon is this:
    Harbinger (Whimsicott) @ Normalium Z
    Ability: Prankster
    Level: 50
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
    Modest Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Nature Power
    - Taunt
    - Tailwind
    - Protect
But the EVs and nature comes through completely haywire:

Some of the specific EVs look like they could be pulled from the other five mon, but no one mon has that spread (obviously, since they add up to 552 EVs). Strange, eh?

EDIT +1 I also can't get any Tapu to come through in a custom set, even with a nickname or just with parentheses around the regular name.

That said, I freakin love this calc and the work you've done. Thank you so much!

Ah, well that would be because it currently doesn't currently support importing entire teams.

Known bug due to having a space in the name, will fix when I find the time.
Fluffy/lightningrod will likely be fixed in the next update.

Turning moves into Z-Moves doesn't automatically remove the held item from the calc, which is really annoying. There have been a few times where I was surprised that something didn't KO because I spent the whole time not noticing I was going off a calc for a Life Orbed Z-Move or something like that
